Searching For Shows:
No, you do not have to create an account to search for horse shows. However, in order to leave reviews and save a horse show as a favorite, you must first create an account for those actions.
The Horse Show Hub currently works with a select group of breed and discipline associations, but has plans in place to expand its reach both in disciplines, and features for users. We always encourage you to contact us with any concerns or additions you wish to see.
While HSH invites show managers and producers to add their events to HSH, not all events get added. Please encourage your local shows to expand their reach by using the HSH.
The Horse Show Hub is structured so you may search as strictly or as generally as you wish. You may fill out only 1 search criteria, all search criteria, or even none.The website does all the heavy lifting for you, automatically narrowing down results based upon what filters (if any) you have searched for. You can then view your results as a thumbnail list, or even view them located on our horse show hub map!
Creating Listings:
A “listing” is a horse show.
Yes, any user that creates an account/login can also create an event. The shows do not appear on the website until it has been verified as listed by a manager (Usually within 24 hours).
In order to provide the highest quality site and service, all listings must be approved by an admin before they go live to our page. This includes paid listings. We strive to get all shows reviewed & approved within 24 hours.
Adding a logo is not required, however we strongly encourage all shows to add personalized branding. Exhibitors want to see what makes your show unique. We at HSH recommend a file size of minimum 120×120 for your logo. A logo of 240×240 will display even better and give you that ideal look.
A cover image is diplayed on various parts of the horse show hub for certain search displays shown to exhibitors.
Adding a cover image is not required, however we strongly encourage all shows to add personalized branding. Exhibitors want to see what makes your show unique. We at HSH recommend a 16:9 aspect ratio (1280×720 minimum or 1920×1080 if you want a crisper look for your show)
Paid listings receive the full support of the HSH. All funds are utilized to provide customized marketing efforts for your show, to offset routine maintenance and site management costs, as well as help pay for your custom “sponsored” posts on Facebook and Instagram. All of which help promote your events to a wider target audience of horse show exhibitors.
